FAQs

What is the difference between Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture
and Micro Needling?

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture can address issues that appear on the face by treating the face directly while addressing the issues at a deeper level. This treatment combines a specialized Cosmetic Acupuncture protocol with a full body Acupuncture treatment, Facial Cupping, and Facial Gua Sha. Every treatment is individualized for each person's concerns. Some people have more fine lines and wrinkles they want to focus on, some have sagging skin and drooping eyelids, some have dark undereye circles or discoloration, others want preventative care to maintain their collagen and elastin. Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture can help address all of these issues, while treating the underlying root of the individual. Treating the root and creating a foundation of good health, can create benefits that last.

Micro Needling can address issues at the skin level. These treatments deeply exfoliate the skin to shed old, dead skin cells and invigorate production of new, healthy skin. Micro Needling creates micro-traumas in the skin, which strongly stimulates the body's natural production of collagen and elastin to repair and rebuild. This can create tighter, smoother, and more even complexion.

Should I get Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture or Micro Needling?

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture and Micro Needling work synergistically to help produce more collagen and elastin, and minimize signs of aging. Each treatment enhances the effects of the other, and they are most effective and potent when incorporated together.

How many sessions is recommended for each treatment?

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture

For optimal results, once a week treatments are recommended for 12 weeks.

The healing cascade that takes place after each treatment stimulates the body to produce collagen and elastin. It takes our body about one month the produce collagen. Weekly treatments for 12 weeks creates a solid foundation of collagen to support lasting results.

Micro Needling

For optimal results, 3 to 6 treatments is recommended, depending on condition of skin and desired outcome. Micro Needling is performed no more than once a month.

This allows the body's natural process to produce collagen, elastin, and new skin cells.

Some patients prefer to have this Collagen Induction Therapy every month, on going. Since Micro Needling is an all natural approach to support the body to function more efficiently, it is typically safe to have on going treatments, if desired.

Results can last up to 5 years.
